Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development together with civic association Druživa are organising an international scientific conference titled „Agriculture as an Actor of Social Inclusion“ (AGASI). 

The conference will take place on 14th and 15th October, 2021 (ONLINE).

Conference language: 

Thursday (14th October) – English language with Slovak translation

   Friday (15th October) – Slovak language (with written conclusions in English)

Registration fee: free

Registration deadline: October 8, 2021

Objective of the conference is to strengthen the dialogue between different stakeholders and to formulate policy recommendations about the role social farming plays in social inclusion and social economy, to share experience and best practices in associated policy-making and to point out the steering role of agriculture in creation of added value and innovations.

The discussion will be focused on following topics:

1. Development of policies creating suitable conditions for social farming
2. Added value of social farming
3. Social farming as a space for the introduction of innovations and new technologies
4. Social farming as a part of social economy and the social system of the state
